On October 24, the Shanghai Data Exchange announced that the Shanghai Clinical Innovation and Translation Research Institute’s “Hospital Logistics Operation Risk Prediction System” data product will be officially listed. This marks the first public data product transaction in Shanghai’s healthcare sector.
The Shanghai Clinical Innovation and Translation Research Institute focuses on three main areas: clinical research and disease cohort construction, translational investment, and data mining with artificial intelligence.
To promote the development and utilization of innovative data elements, Shanghai First People’s Hospital has authorized the Shanghai Clinical Innovation and Translation Research Institute to manage data related to hospital logistics operations. The introduction of the “Hospital Logistics Operation Risk Prediction System” is aimed at hospitals, schools, and large enterprises, seeking to explore how data can empower the transformation and upgrade of logistics management. This initiative is designed to assist clients in addressing issues related to passive responses in logistics management and the inefficiencies stemming from inadequate standardization, which can lead to either an excess or a shortage of resource allocation.
Looking ahead, the Shanghai Data Exchange plans to deepen its collaboration with the Shanghai Clinical Innovation and Translation Research Institute to further accelerate the development and utilization of data within the healthcare industry.
